About

ETER-MED Sp. z o.o. is a Polish medical technology developer based in Gdańsk, with a dedicated R&D Centre in Straszyn. The company pairs a clinical care base with in-house device development, giving direct access to the patient populations it designs for.

R&D runs on two technology platforms:

AI-guided cryotherapy. CRYO-AI develops an ultrasound-guided cryoanalgesia system with disposable echogenic cryoprobes for non-opioid pain management. The work combines laser-micromachined probe surfaces, physics-informed neural networks for real-time ice-ball prediction, and deep-learning nerve segmentation. Target: CE-marked Class IIb AI medical device.

Ozone-based wound therapy. A portfolio of devices and formulations for chronic and hard-to-heal wounds — ozonated-water hydrosurgical debridement using SL-DBD plasma electrodes, semi-automated ozone autohemotherapy for diabetic foot syndrome, and ozonide-based active substances.

ETER-MED acts as coordinator and consortium partner across Eurostars, Polish national programmes (NCBiR/FENG, PARP, ABM) and regional EFRR funding, working with international R&D partners including CSEM (Switzerland). Development is run under EU MDR from concept, with parallel FDA 510(k) pathways where relevant.
