About

The Hellenic Cancer Federation (ELLOK), Hellenic Cancer Mission Hub represents 53 cancer patient organisations in Greece. It is interested in developing European cooperation on patient-centred cancer care and improving the experience and outcomes of people living with and beyond cancer.

We are particularly interested in cooperation in the following areas:

• Mental health and psychosocial support for people affected by cancer
• Survivorship, quality of life and long-term support after cancer treatment
• Digital health and digital literacy, particularly for patients who face barriers to accessing digital health services
• Patient empowerment, health literacy and access to reliable and understandable cancer information
• Reducing inequalities in cancer care, including challenges faced by people living in rural or underserved areas
• Meaningful and sustained patient involvement in research, innovation and cancer policy

ELLOK can contribute expertise in patient engagement, cancer policy, stakeholder engagement, dissemination and communication, as well as direct links with cancer patient organisations and people affected by cancer across Greece.

We are interested both in joining existing European project consortia and in developing new project ideas with complementary partners, including patient organisations, healthcare providers, universities, research institutions and other relevant stakeholders.
