Medical-grade remote monitoring and digital endpoints for NCD and neurodegenerative clinical trials

Corsano Health is looking to join Horizon Europe consortia conducting innovative clinical trials where continuous physiological monitoring, digital endpoints and remote follow-up can strengthen the evaluation of treatment effects.

Our main interest is in:

• HORIZON-HLTH-2027-DISEASE-01 – Innovative healthcare interventions for non-communicable diseases

• HORIZON-HLTH-2027-DISEASE-14 – Clinical trials for neurodegenerative diseases

Corsano provides a medical-grade wearable and cloud platform for continuous longitudinal monitoring in hospital, home and real-world settings. Depending on the clinical use case, the platform can provide heart rate, ECG, SpO₂, respiratory parameters, blood pressure-related measures, temperature, activity and sleep, as well as access to raw PPG, ECG and accelerometer data.

Within a clinical trial consortium, Corsano can contribute to:

• continuous monitoring before, during and after an intervention;

• development and validation of digital endpoints and exploratory treatment-response markers;

• personalised baseline and change-from-baseline analysis;

• assessment of physiological safety and treatment-related changes;

• remote and decentralised follow-up of study participants;

• objective measurement of activity, sleep and functional recovery;

• integration of wearable data with clinical, laboratory and patient-reported outcomes;

• interoperable data provision for AI, statistical analysis and clinical research infrastructures;

• prospective clinical validation of wearable-derived measures.

For DISEASE-01, we are particularly interested in cardiovascular disease, heart failure, cardiometabolic disease and chronic respiratory disease, where continuous monitoring can support evaluation of innovative pharmacological or non-pharmacological interventions.

For DISEASE-14, we are interested in supporting neurodegenerative disease trials with longitudinal physiological and behavioural monitoring, digital endpoints, safety monitoring and remote assessment of treatment response and disease progression.

We are seeking clinical and academic partners with a defined intervention, access to suitable patient populations and a strong clinical-trial concept. Corsano could contribute as a core technology partner and potentially lead activities related to remote monitoring, wearable-derived endpoints, data integration and clinical validation.
