Discovery of novel antimicrobials from host-associated microbiome

In my lab, we focus on microbes from underexplored environments as sources on novel antimicrobials, with particular interest in host-associated microbiome. At a technical level, my lab performs microbial culturing and metabolites extraction, LC-MS/MS metabolomics analysis, antimicrobial and cytotoxicity assays, metabolites purification and chemical structure characterization.
