About
WeMind Cluster – Partner for HORIZON-HLTH-2027-01-STAYHLTH-01: Addressing disabilities through the life course to support independent living and inclusion
WeMind Cluster is a healthcare innovation ecosystem based in Catalonia, Spain, bringing together companies, healthcare providers, research institutions, universities, technology developers and social care organisations working in mental health, neuroscience, ageing, disability and personal autonomy.
Our mission is to foster collaborative innovation, knowledge transfer and the development of person-centred solutions that enhance quality of life, social inclusion and independent living across the life course.
Expertise and contribution to the project
WeMind Cluster is interested in joining a European consortium addressing the needs of people with disabilities and promoting innovative, inclusive and sustainable approaches to independent living.
We can contribute to the project through:
-
Stakeholder engagement and ecosystem mobilisation: Connecting the consortium with healthcare professionals, research institutions, companies, social care providers, patient organisations and other relevant stakeholders.
-
Co-creation and Living Lab methodologies: Supporting participatory innovation and user-centred design through our Care & Autonomy Living Lab, involving end users, caregivers and professionals in the development and assessment of solutions.
-
Mental health, ageing and personal autonomy expertise: Bringing a multidisciplinary perspective to the challenges faced by people with disabilities, particularly regarding psychosocial well-being, autonomy, accessibility and social participation.
-
Pilot activities and real-world validation: Facilitating connections with relevant organisations within our ecosystem to explore opportunities for testing, demonstration and evaluation in real-life settings.
-
Dissemination, communication and exploitation: Supporting knowledge transfer, stakeholder networking, dissemination of project results and pathways towards the adoption and sustainability of innovative solutions.
Role in the consortium
WeMind Cluster seeks to participate as a project partner, contributing primarily to stakeholder engagement, co-creation, innovation ecosystem mobilisation, dissemination, exploitation and knowledge transfer.
We are particularly interested in projects combining technological, healthcare and social innovations to improve autonomy, accessibility, inclusion and quality of life for people with disabilities.
Partners sought
We are looking to collaborate with European project coordinators and multidisciplinary consortia, including:
-
Universities and research organisations specialising in disability, rehabilitation, public health and social inclusion.
-
Hospitals, healthcare providers and social care organisations.
-
Patient associations, disability organisations and end-user representatives.
-
Technology companies developing assistive technologies, accessible digital health solutions and tools supporting independent living.
-
Public authorities and organisations working on inclusive community-based care models.
Objective of cooperation
Our objective is to contribute to impactful European research and innovation projects that develop, evaluate and facilitate the adoption of inclusive, person-centred solutions, empowering people with disabilities to live independently, participate fully in society and improve their well-being throughout their lives.
