IRCCS Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi, Florence, Italy
AIRLAB is a research laboratory embedded within a clinical hospital environment, combining advanced technical expertise in Artificial Intelligence, biomedical engineering, and healthcare research.
Our core competencies include machine learning and deep learning, clinical data analytics, biomedical signal processing, medical image analysis, and the development and validation of predictive models and AI-based clinical decision support systems. We are studying clinical tranldsatability of advanced AI methodologies, including LLMs, agentic AI, knowledge graphs, self-supervised predictive architectures (e.g., JEPA), multimodal foundation models, and uncertainty-aware decision models.
Our distinctive strength lies in bridging AI research and clinical practice. Working closely with healthcare professionals, we can contribute to the entire innovation pipeline, from data acquisition and algorithm development to clinical validation and real-world evaluation.
We are looking for Horizon Europe coordinators interested in developing, testing, and validating trustworthy AI solutions for healthcare, leveraging our combined expertise in AI technologies and clinical research within a real hospital setting.
