About
CEYAZEM (Cerrahpaşa Artificial Intelligence Center), Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, Türkiye, seeks a consortium/coordinator for HORIZON-HLTH-2027-02-TOOL-01-two-stage: Development of predictive biomarkers of disease progression and treatment response by using AI methodologies for chronic non-communicable diseases.
We aim to contribute as an academic hospital-based scientific beneficiary, combining clinical expertise, medical imaging, multimodal predictive modelling and scientific/clinical evaluation of AI.
Our proposed clinical focus is chronic kidney disease, with potential cardio-renal applications. Collaboration with nephrology provides a basis for clinically relevant questions on disease progression and treatment response.
Potential contributions:
• Clinical problem definition, use-case design and endpoint selection.
• Curation and analysis of multimodal and longitudinal clinical, laboratory and imaging data.
• AI-based predictive modelling and predictive biomarker evaluation.
• Clinical validation, assessment of clinical utility and explainability.
• Evaluation of integration into clinical workflows.
• Research, training and dissemination.
We seek consortium coordinators and complementary partners in predictive biomarkers, AI methodology, data integration and clinical evaluation across Europe and Horizon Europe associated countries. External consortium partnerships are not yet confirmed.
Cohort size, longitudinal data availability and recruitment capacity will be established during consortium development. Clinical data use and prospective studies are subject to feasibility, ethics approval and institutional authorisation. No unrestricted data access or transfer is implied.
