CARE-02: Personalized approaches to reduce adverse drug reactions from multiple medications

About
Call goal: reduce adverse drug reactions in patients taking three or more drugs, using pharmacogenomics, other biomarkers and decision support built into electronic health records. It also asks for evidence that genotype-guided treatment works clinically and is cost-effective.
What we contribute:
· PGx genotyping analysis and interpretation, including drug-drug-gene interactions across multi-drug regimens.
· Automated, CPIC-aligned PGx reports that feed EHR-integrated clinical decision support.
· Biomarker-based patient stratification, using RNA and methylation beyond genotype to explain variable response.
· AI models predicting adverse-reaction risk from combined genomic and clinical data.
· Cohort analysis supporting the clinical utility and cost-effectiveness evidence.
· Long-read PGx genotyping that resolves complex pharmaco-genes such as CYP2D6 through phasing and structural-variant detection.
· REST API and EHR/LIMS integration so PGx results flow directly into hospital decision-support systems.
· ISO 13485 certification, CE-IVDR certification in progress and ISO/IEC 27001 security for handling patient genomic data across clinical sites, supporting the regulatory and implementation strategy.
Why it strengthens the consortium: the call's core is PGx-guided, EHR-integrated decision support, backed by clinical-utility evidence. Geneyx delivers the full genotype-to-recommendation chain as an operational clinical decision support platform, not a research prototype, which de-risks the central technical work package from the start. Automated reporting makes the approach scalable beyond the trial sites, and an industry partner gives evaluators a credible route to uptake and commercial exploitation, which the call explicitly encourages.
