About
Bringing products from the lab to the last mile — with the communities that will use them
The Geneva Learning Foundation (TGLF) operates a real-time intelligence network of over870,000 frontline health practitioners across 137 countries, more than 50% of them government staff working at district and community level. For consortia developing novel antiviral therapeutics, monoclonal antibodies, next-generation antimicrobials, or interventions for non-communicable and neurodegenerative diseases, the hardest problem is rarely the molecule — it is the last mile: health worker readiness, health-system capacity to absorb a new product, and community trust in the era of disinformation.
TGLF is not a training provider or a traditional NGO partner. We are a strategic implementation-intelligence partner that turns a consortium's R&D investment into field-ready adoption, de-risking market and health-system entry before a single dose or regimen reaches a community.
What we bring to a research and innovation action:
Communities of practice for researchers and implementers. Using our validated Double-Loop Learning Organisational Quotient (DLOQ) model, we build and strengthen peer networks of researchers, clinicians, and district health teams working on a shared disease area or product class — connecting trial sites, national programmes, and frontline practitioners so that implementation knowledge compounds across the consortium rather than staying siloed in each site.
Stakeholder engagement at speed and scale during product development. Our digital peer-learning model recruits and engages thousands of health workers and community stakeholders within weeks, not months, surfacing root-cause barriers to future uptake (trust deficits, logistics, health-system readiness) while a product is still in development — intelligence that is normally unavailable until after launch.
Coordination of product testing, adoption, introduction and community engagement. Where a consortium needs in-country trial recruitment support, patient and community engagement for a new diagnostic, therapeutic or care pathway, or post-approval introduction planning, TGLF provides the digital infrastructure and the trusted, government-embedded network to execute it — complementary to CROs, patient-engagement providers, and existing implementing partners, not a replacement for them.
Evidence base: attribution-level studies show a 7x greater likelihood of documented implementation success compared to conventional approaches, at up to 90% lower cost per outcome, with 82% of participating health workers continuing to apply the model independently after external support ends. Our model has been used by Gavi, Gates Foundation, Wellcome Trust, UNICEF and WHO, and is structured with a compliance firewall (no payments flow to individual government staff) consistent with FCPA and equivalent transparency standards.
What we are seeking: EU consortia and coordinators across the Destination 3 topics below, where community of practice-building, stakeholder engagement, and field-level implementation support for product testing and introduction are a defined work package or a planned Phase 2/real-world deployment component.
