About

Mátra Biker Sport Club (MBSC) is a non-profit organisation established in 2009, operating as a long-term community-based platform for active lifestyle promotion, prevention and youth engagement in Hungary.

Since 2020, MBSC has operated fully digital, paper-free membership and registration systems, enabling scalable, GDPR-compliant participant engagement and data workflows. Through its programmes and events, the organisation reaches more than 20,000 active participants annually across different age groups. MBSC places strong emphasis on youth development, social inclusion and environmental responsibility, including summer programmes for underprivileged children and community-based sustainability initiatives.

Since 2021, MBSC has been the organiser of the Tour de Mátra, Hungary's first UCI Gran Fondo World Series qualifying event, offering a structured, large-scale real-world pilot environment with international participation (next event: 29-31 May 2026). Beyond its sporting role, the Tour de Mátra is designed to serve as a real-world pilot environment for voluntary, non-interventional data collection related to physical activity, lifestyle and environmental exposure. The event encompasses multiple forms of endurance-based physical activity, including road cycling, hiking, walking and trail running, providing a diverse and well-characterised real-world context supporting prevention-oriented and digital health research approaches.

With the work of Judit Kazsuba, MBSC received the Energy Globe Hungary Award 2024 for its sustainable youth sport camp programmes, recognising the organisation's contribution to health, prevention and environmental awareness at the community level.

The Tour de Mátra is developed and implemented by Judit Kazsuba, ensuring continuity, quality control and reliable execution of real-world pilot activities.
