About
Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) is an emerging research partner seeking to collaborate in Horizon Europe Health and One Health projects as a reliable contributor or focused Work Package partner.
Our team is building strong expertise in climate–health and air quality Digital Twin modelling, AI-based disease risk prediction, and the integration of weather, flooding, heat stress, air pollution, and health data. We are particularly interested in developing practical tools such as early warning systems and digital decision-support platforms that can support clinicians, nurses, and communities.
From an ASEAN perspective, we offer access to real-world tropical and monsoon-affected settings, including flood-, drought-, and heat-prone communities. We contribute regional case studies on dengue and other climate-sensitive diseases, air quality exposure, and environmental health risks. Through our networks, we can also facilitate collaboration with partner institutions across Southeast Asia for multi-country studies and field validation.
Our current interests include work on climate–health exposome studies, the development of Digital Twin models and longitudinal exposure datasets, AI-based risk prediction for dengue and heat-related risks, and the design and testing of digital platforms for climate-sensitive health management in community and clinical settings.
As an emerging partner, we are committed to delivering high-quality field implementation, reliable data, and timely contributions, while continuously strengthening our capacity through international collaboration.
We welcome collaboration with experienced coordinators and partners and are keen to contribute to well-organised consortia focused on climate adaptation, environmental health, and digital health innovation. Further project details can be shared upon request.
