About
Experimental and computational simulation of physiological and pathophysiological conditions aims to accurately predict drug behaviour in living systems. By integrating in vitro, and in silico models, this approach enables a deeper understanding of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, as well as the identification of potential therapeutic and adverse effects.
This strategy contributes to:
-
more reliable prediction of the clinical and pharmaceutical potential of new molecules,
-
optimization of therapeutic protocols,
-
reduction of drug development time and costs,
-
advancement of personalized medicine based on individual biological parameters of patients.
This concept lies in the implementation of artificial intelligence, experimental models and advanced bioinformatics platforms to simulate patient-specific responses to therapy prior to clinical administration. This opens the path toward more precise, safer, and more effective treatments while minimizing risks and adverse effects.
