VR could join as a key implementation partner focusing on the nutrition component. For example, VR can formulate and supply health-promoting supplements or functional foods to be used in schools or workplaces to encourage healthy diets. It can also design in vitro/in vivo studies to validate the impact of dietary interventions on NCD biomarkers. With its regulatory expertise, VR would ensure any new product or intervention meets health standards and could help with dissemination to public health authorities.
