SSH research and policy transfer, science communication and valorization, professional management

Wise Angle is a social research and consultancy firm with a team of SSH experts specialized in digital and social innovation management, science communication and valorization.

In the selected topics we are looking for like-minded academic, clinical, government and civil society partners building multi-disciplinary consortia to unlock the benefits of innovation to target high-priority unmet needs in the health and social care domain as well as in the working and living environments.

Among others, we are currently (or have been recently):

- coordinating the Dissemination and Stakeholder Engagement activities in the ALAMEDA project (https://alamedaproject.eu/)) meant to develop an AI-based system for patient monitoring and disease progression assessment/prediction in the field of neurological disorders;

- leading exploitation and citizen needs assessment in the OneAquaHealth Horizon Europe project (https://www.oneaquahealth.eu/)) which combines Earth observation data, ground observation data and citizen-generated data to enhance urban ecosystem surveillance and assess One Health's impacts of urban freshwaters' degradation;

- leading comms within the recently awarded the Erasmus+ Blueprint Alliance BRIGHTskills (https://www.bright-skills.eu/)) led by EIT Health with the goal of upskilling and reskilling the health industry workers (where we were also in charge of the full grant writing support);

- managing all the technical and administrative aspects of the CORE-MD project (https://www.core-md.eu/)) led by the European Society of Cardiology.

We offer consolidated quali-quantitative social research expertise and we have recently run several studies on behalf of European institutions such as EU-OSHA and the EESC (see attachment). Specifically, we are in charge of several EU-OSHA studies on mental health at work and psychosocial risk factors in the workplace. The latter are heavily impacted by digitalization processes.

We are also skilled to provide impact-driven project design and management along with social research and stakeholder engagement expertise.

We have an extended network in both Spain and the EU in the healthcare and health research sector, so we might also support with partners’ scouting if needed. Moreover, we are member of and based at the Barcelona Health Hub which groups +400 digital health innovators, among startups and investors.

Lastly, we are an official member of the Strategic Partner Initiative on Data and Digital Health of the WHO.
