multimodal AI meets behavioural science for improved preventive health

Managing Director at Godot

Wien, Austria

About

Behavioural & Cognitive Science

  • Design and validation of behaviour change interventions grounded in cognitive, motivational, and decision-science theories

  • Operationalisation of constructs such as cognitive load, engagement, motivation, habit formation, adherence, and bias

  • Experimental design, human-in-the-loop evaluation, and mixed-methods validation (quantitative + qualitative)

Generative & Multimodal AI

  • Development of personalised, adaptive behaviour change messages using generative AI

  • Multimodal inputs (text, interaction data, physiological or behavioural signals where applicable)

  • Emphasis on explainability, ethical AI, and alignment with human values

Behavioural Modelling & Simulation

  • Computational modelling of individual and group behaviour

  • Simulation of intervention effects, user trajectories, and decision pathways

  • Support for scenario testing, policy modelling, and digital twin-like approaches for human behaviour

Embodied AI & Human-AI Interaction

  • Design of embodied or agent-based AI systems (e.g. virtual coaches, assistants, or interactive agents)

  • Research on trust, cooperation, personality, and social dynamics in human-AI interaction

  • Experience with immersive and interactive settings (e.g. training, learning, performance contexts)

Data Science & Personalisation

  • End-to-end data pipelines: feature engineering, modelling, evaluation

  • Personalised recommendation and training systems, including adaptive learning or coaching

  • Experience working with demographic, behavioural, performance, and bio-signal-derived data

Applied Domains

  • Preventive health and health promotion

  • Learning, skill acquisition, and long-term behaviour change

  • Human growth, wellbeing, and sustainable behaviour

Role in a consortium

We are looking to contribute as:

  • Research & Innovation partner bridging behavioural science and AI

  • Work Package lead or contributor for intervention design, AI-based personalisation, modelling, or evaluation

  • Prototype developer for AI-driven behavioural systems and digital health applications

  • Dissemination & exploitation contributor, translating research into scalable, real-world applications
