Luminescent probes targeting viral reservoirs
Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Dublin, Ireland
About
Synthetic chemistry background looking to develop new luminescent molecular probes for the detection of active viral infection (SARS-CoV-2, HIV-1, EBV, HHV-6, inter alia). Covering the synthetic chemistry expertise and in vitro models of viral RNA, but require colleagues with the capability of translation to biological context. View to treating Long Covid, ME/CFS and identify sites of latent viral infection from tissue samples/models.
