Human-Centric Digital Twins & Knowledge Graphs for Proactive Personalised Health

Associate Professor at University of Cagliari (UNICA)

Cagliari, Italy

About

I am an Associate Professor working on human-centric AI for digital health, at the intersection of Human Digital Twins, knowledge graphs, multimodal learning and trustworthy IoT/edge-cloud systems. I contribute to projects that need to transform heterogeneous real-world data (wearables/IoT signals, context, and clinical information) into actionable, explainable and privacy-aware decision support.

What I can bring to a consortium

  • Architecture & integration: modular pipelines to ingest and harmonise multimodal data; edge–cloud coordination; interoperability-by-design.

  • Knowledge-centric AI: patient/user-specific knowledge graphs and hybrid reasoning combining structured knowledge with modern AI (incl. LLM-based components where appropriate).

  • Digital twins / personalisation: methods for continuously updating personal models over time (lifelong change), supporting prevention, monitoring, and personalised recommendations.

I am open to roles as WP leader or core technical partner, especially in WPs on data/AI architecture, knowledge modelling, decision support, and validation in real-life environments.
