Qualitative and quantitative social research
Associate Professor at Faculty of Sociology and Social Work - West University of Timisoara (UVT)
Timisoara, Romania
About
The social research we provide aims to gather multiple perspectives from patients/beneficiaries, institutional and health personnel, and policymakers on equal access to innovative, sustainable, high-quality healthcare. We also address non-clinical barriers to healthcare access, including socio-cultural, institutional and communication-related factors that shape citizens’ interaction with healthcare systems. Special attention is paid to ethical considerations, data sensitivity, and equity in access, particularly for vulnerable and underrepresented groups. The proposed methodologies are scalable and adaptable to different European healthcare contexts, enabling cross-regional comparison and knowledge transfer.
