Qualitative and quantitative research to inform policymakers in the healthcare sector
Lecturer at Faculty of Sociology and Social Work - West University of Timisoara (UVT)
Timisoara, Romania
About
As social scientists, me and my colleagues from the Department of Sociology at the West University of Timișoara, Romania are interested in supporting the planning, implementation, and effective dissemination of qualitative (in-depth interviews, participant observation, social visual mapping) and quantitative (survey research, social statistics analysis) studies, with the purpose of informing healthcare-related public policy. The social research aims to capture a broad range of perspectives—from patients and service beneficiaries to healthcare professionals, institutional actors, and policymakers—on ensuring equitable access to innovative, sustainable, and high-quality healthcare services.
