New Approach Methodologies: patient-derived iPSC models
full professor at Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Latvia
Riga, Latvia
About
We have expertise in patient-derived iPSC generation and differentiation into skeletal myoblasts and myotubes for rare muscular dystrophies, including LGMDR1. Our work focuses on preclinical disease modelling to support personalised therapeutic development. We seek participation in a Horizon Europe consortium developing antisense oligonucleotide or base-editing approaches for rare inherited muscle diseases, contributing relevant cellular models for target validation and preclinical testing.
