Specificity profiling for therapeutic antibodies and other biologics
Associate Professor at Ghent University
Gent, Belgium
About
Specificity profiling of therapeutic antibodies is a required element of IND submissions, as regulators expect clear evidence of target selectivity and minimal off‑target risk. Current commercial profiling platforms, however, are expensive, slow to deploy, and difficult to scale, limiting how often they can be used during discovery and preclinical work. Our new assay enables rapid, repeatable, and scalable specificity assessment, making it possible to integrate profiling much earlier in development to identify liabilities sooner and reduce late‑stage risk. Strong proof-of-concept available with further development ongoing.
