Clinical Transformation for Low Carbon Healthcare
CEO at The Centre for Sustainable Healthcare
Oxford, United Kingdom
About
CSH is an independent non-profit organisation based in Oxford, UK. Over the last 15 years, we have led sustainable transformation in health systems around the world. We offer strategic input through a variety of bespoke services and initiatives, including education and guidance for healthcare professionals. We also undertake groundbreaking research projects that improve the sustainability of the healthcare sector.
CSH have developed the principles of sustainable healthcare, which underpin all our work. We have also developed frameworks for sustainability in quality improvement (SusQI) and triple-bottom-line analysis (based on environmental, social and financial factors). We provide quantitative carbon footprint analysis and benchmarking. We have delivered education and training in sustainable healthcare practice to thousands of practitioners around the world, including Net Zero training for healthcare system leaders. Our online networks represent a community of over 9,000 committed healthcare professionals. We are currently engaged in a range of projects across the UK and Europe, including 'KitNewCare', a four-year project funded by EU Horizon to develop sustainable kidney care in Spain, Poland, Italy and the Netherlands.
We are interested in acting as an expert partner within a wider consortium, in projects which are focused on achieving low-carbon treatment pathways in specific clinical specialties. We are interested in activities involving staff and senior stakeholder engagement and education, the exploration of change agents and driving sustainable practice through benchmarking and carbon footprint analysis.
