The MOTIVATOR program

About
This project aims to improve patient health outcomes by putting behavioural science at the service of health professionals.
Motivational Communication is a time-efficient, patient-centred communication style designed to promote patient engagement towards health behaviour change. It was co-developed by behavioural scientists and healthcare professionals to be used within clinical consultations. By translating evidence-based behaviour change strategies into practical tools, it equips healthcare providers to increase patient confidence, knowledge and motivation towards change.
The MOTIVATOR program was developed by the Montreal Behavioural Medicine Centre to achieve scientific integrity, objectivity and balance.
