About
Meeva S.R.L. Società Benefit is a former spin-off of Fondazione Bruno Kessler based in Trento, Italy. The company focuses on developing Virtual Reality (VR) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions to support therapy for adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders. Its flagship product, Zentastic (https://xr4a.eu/),,),,)) is a clinically validated digital solution composed of two main components:
A VR application that runs on headsets and engages groups of adolescents in immersive multiplayer serious games;
A data analysis software powered by ML algorithms that processes biometric signals to alert therapists to potential stress conditions in players.
Zentastic was developed in 2022 within an innovation project supported by EIT Digital and has been validated through several international clinical studies involving a significant number of adolescents. The goal is to enhance social skills and executive functions (such as attention and working memory) in adolescents by exposing them to XR role-playing games.
Meeva’s team combines expertise in VR development, gaming and gamification technologies, and clinical and educational psychology. The company includes senior and junior experts with backgrounds in telecommunications engineering, ICT, business administration, cognitive and clinical psychology, educational methodologies for individuals with learning disabilities, and ML-based behavioral analysis tools in therapeutic contexts.
Meeva is also actively involved in EU-funded R&I projects, contributing to various work packages with multidisciplinary expertise.
