FULL DESCRIPTION:

I am an Assistant Professor in Health Psychology, AI and Technology at the University of Twente (Netherlands). My research focuses on developing and evaluating digital health interventions for mental health and non-communicable chronic conditions. I am interested in identifying risk and protective factors for mental health, and how to leverage these to personalize and optimize care.

Research Expertise:

  • Just-in-Time Adaptive Interventions and Micro-Randomized Trials

  • Digital monitoring of symptoms using wearables and ecological momentary assessment

  • Digital phenotyping for mental health and behavioral patterns

  • Single-Case Experimental Designs and Randomized Controlled Trials

Methods & Capabilities:

  • Advanced quantitative methods: multilevel modeling, machine learning, clinical trial design and evaluation, meta-analysis

  • Qualitative methods: focus groups, user-centered design, content analysis

  • Wearable sensor integration and physiological data analysis

  • Mobile health (mHealth) application development and evaluation
