About
In our research, we focus on development (with engineering partners), application and implementation of technologies and digitalization in physiotherapy. User-centered development is prioritized along with a practical and sustainable approach. We work with patients, physiotherapists, and decision-makers from politics, the healthcare system, and industry.
We have previously developed a check-list for smartphone apps utilized in rehabilitation. This check-list should assist in the decision-making of the public and therapists on which apps are suitable and safe to use. This check-list could be developed further and integrated in different use-cases to provide personalized care, improve care experience and health outcomes and support informed and joint-decision making between patients and therapists.
