Multimodal AI Monitoring for Real-World Implementation of Multisectoral NCD Interventions

NSight proposes a technological contribution to Horizon Europe projects under HORIZON-HLTH-2026-01-DISEASE-09 (GACD), supporting implementation research aimed at tackling chronic non-communicable diseases through multisectoral actions beyond the healthcare system.

NSight enables objective, real-world and scalable evaluation of interventions implemented in settings such as schools, communities, workplaces and urban environments, complementing clinical, social and policy-oriented approaches.

The intervention includes:

• Wearable-based physiological monitoring (EEG, heart rate variability, electrodermal activity) to capture stress regulation, behavioural engagement and physiological responses to multisectoral interventions in real-life contexts.

• Non-invasive salivary biomarker analysis to assess biological responses related to chronic stress and NCD risk, suitable for community-based and low-resource settings.

• AI-driven data fusion and implementation analytics, integrating physiological, biological and behavioural data to support evaluation of adoption, effectiveness, sustainability and scalability of interventions.

• Generation of policy-relevant real-world evidence, supporting decision-making across sectors and facilitating transferability of successful interventions to different socio-economic and cultural contexts.

Within a consortium, NSight can act as technology and data partner or WP leader/co-leader for outcome measurement, digital biomarkers and AI-supported implementation analysis. By bridging digital health, neuroscience and AI, NSight strengthens the evidence base of multisectoral strategies addressing chronic NCDs, in line with GACD priorities.
