AI-enabled Multimodal Monitoring to Prevent Digital Technology–Related Mental Health Risks in Youth
progect manager at NSight Dynamics s.r.l.

About
NSight proposes an integrated technological contribution to Horizon Europe projects addressing the prevention of harmful effects of digital technologies on the mental health of children and young adults.
The intervention focuses on objective, multimodal assessment and personalisation of preventive strategies, complementing psychological, educational and social interventions required by the call.
NSight contributes:
-
Wearable neuro-psychophysiological monitoring (EEG, heart rate variability, electrodermal activity) to quantify stress responses, emotional arousal, cognitive overload and self-regulation associated with digital technology use (e.g. social media, gaming, prolonged screen exposure).
-
Non-invasive salivary biomarker analysis to capture early biological signals related to stress and vulnerability, enabling robust evaluation of intervention effects beyond self-reported measures.
-
AI-driven data fusion and digital phenotyping, integrating physiological, biological and behavioural data to identify individual risk profiles, support early prevention and enable personalised, adaptive interventions.
-
Outcome evaluation and real-world evidence generation, providing scalable and FAIR, GDPR-compliant metrics to assess the effectiveness of innovative preventive interventions in clinical, educational and community settings.
Within a consortium, NSight can act as a technology and data partner, or as WP leader/co-leader for monitoring, AI analytics or outcome evaluation. By bridging neuroscience, digital health and AI, NSight strengthens the scientific robustness, personalisation and scalability of interventions aimed at protecting mental health in increasingly digital environments.
