Digital Health Co-design, Research and Innovation, Evaluation
European Project Manager at Fondazione Bruno Kessler
TRENTO, Italy
About
Fondazione Bruno Kessler's Digital Health & Wellbeing Centre is a multidisciplinary research centre with strong expertise in the design, development, and evaluation of digital health and behavioural intervention technologies. The Centre supports Horizon Europe consortia across the full innovation cycle, from early-stage concept development to large-scale piloting and validation.
We can contribute to:
-
Ethnographic and organisational research to support the introduction of technological innovation within healthcare, social care, and organisational processes
-
Co-design and participatory development of Digital Health Technologies (AI-based solutions, chatbots, VR/AR) involving end users and stakeholders from the earliest project phases
-
Advanced R&D activities with domain experts (psychologists, HCI researchers, clinicians)
-
Development of LLM-based systems like agents (modeling multi-modal knowledge and neuro-symbolic reasoning, integrating of LLMs within digital assistants, ethical AI)
-
Development of immersive VR/AR solutions and multisensory technologies (e.g. EEG, physiological sensing, olfactory stimuli)
-
Design, development and deployment
of innovative software solutions in digital health ensuring privacy and data governance
-
Evaluation and validation of behavioural intervention technologies and digital therapeutics for clinical and non-clinical populations, including pilot studies and real-life testing
The Centre has long-standing experience in EU-funded projects (Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, I3 instrument), contributing both scientific excellence and strong capacity in interdisciplinary collaboration, ethics, and impact-oriented innovation.
