Calcium phosphate/baryum titanate ceramics 4D scaffolds with enhanced antibacterial properties
Programme Manager at Centre de Recherche de l'Industrie Belge de la Céramique
Mons, Belgium
About
Development of 3D scaffold by 3D printing for bone regeneration, using calcium phosphate and barym titanate (customized synthesis) to add piezoelectric properties to the material.
Objective : after implantation, an activation through external ultrasonor excitation will generate electrical charges at the surface and eliminating bacterial activities.
