About
The Research & Innovation Department (DAIRI) at AOU AL (University Hospital of Alessandria, Piedmont, Italy) offers a comprehensive clinical-research infrastructure dedicated to translational medicine, multicenter clinical trials, real-world data collection and health technology evaluation. Our facilities include a Clinical Trial Center, Grant Office, Biobank, HTA Unit, Biomedical Library and dedicated units for Training, Communication and Fundraising. We coordinate multiple Disease Units and joint laboratories with the local university and operate with expertise in epidemiology, clinical data management and multidisciplinary care pathways.
We can act as clinical partner, recruitment and data-collection center in consortia focusing on interventional or observational trials, biomarker validation, digital health deployment, health services research and real-world evidence generation. We aim to support multinational and multicenter proposals by offering patient access, standardized protocols, regulatory/ethical compliance and established collaborative networks
