ML/AI expertise for healthcare applications

Scientific Coordinator at The Cyprus Institue

Nicosia, Cyprus

About

The Computation-based Science and Technology Research Centre (CaSToRC) of the Cyprus Institute pioneers in research, development, and deployment of computational and large-scale data methodologies for the advancement of scientific and technological disciplines. One of its core strengths lies in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, particularly in healthcare-related applications. For example, CaSToRC has developed expertise in personalized oncology and automated segmentation techniques for prostate cancer patients. More recently, the Centre has been engaged in research on physics-informed neural networks to enable personalized predictions of disease progression and treatment planning, as well as studies exploring the impact of environmental factors on brain disorders. Building on this broad expertise, we are eager to contribute to multiple topics and destinations within the Health Cluster, offering innovative ML/AI methodologies for health-related applications.
