PV Panel Recycling Project in Egypt – Feasibility Study & Technology Partnership

Green Track is exploring the development of a photovoltaic panel recycling project in Egypt and is seeking an experienced French technical or industrial partner to cooperate on the project.

As the first generations of photovoltaic installations approach the end of their useful life, increasing quantities of end-of-life PV panels will require proper collection, treatment and material recovery. PV modules contain valuable and recoverable materials, including glass, aluminium, copper, silicon and other valuable fractions. France has developed significant expertise and infrastructure in the collection, treatment and recycling of end-of-life photovoltaic panels.

We are looking for a French partner with proven experience in PV panel recycling, circular economy, waste treatment, material recovery or related technologies to support us in conducting a comprehensive feasibility study for establishing a recycling facility in Egypt.

The study would assess the available technologies and recycling processes, required equipment, capacity, investment requirements, operating costs, potential recovered materials and their market value, environmental considerations, and the overall technical and economic viability of the project.

The long-term objective is to establish a commercially viable PV recycling activity in Egypt, potentially serving the Egyptian and wider regional markets.

We are interested in technical consultancy, technology transfer, process and equipment selection, feasibility studies, pilot projects, training and potentially a long-term strategic partnership or joint venture.

Green Track is particularly interested in working with French companies, technology providers, recycling operators, engineering companies and research organizations with practical experience in photovoltaic panel recycling and the circular economy.
