About me

I am a Docent in Materials Chemistry and Researcher at Uppsala University (affiliated with Department of Chemistry - Ångström laboratory). My core research centers on the rational design, synthesis, and in-depth mechanistic characterization of advanced energy materials for both energy storage and solar fuel conversion.

Within the CETPartnership Joint Call 2026, our group offers distinct expertise targeting two key areas:

  1. Stationary Battery Technologies (Call Module 2026-06):

Development and modification of battery materials. We specialize in state-of-the-art operando and in-situ techniques to track phase transitions, reaction kinetics, and degradation mechanisms under battery operating conditions.

  2. Hydrogen & Renewable Fuels (Call Module 2026-05):

Longstanding research experience (dating back to 2001) in photocatalysis and inorganic catalytic materials, focusing on solar-driven photocatalytic hydrogen generation (water splitting) and advanced catalyst synthesis/characterization.
