Koruma Klor Alkali San. ve Tic. A.Ş. is one of the leading chemical manufacturers in Türkiye and hosts an accredited R&D Center dedicated to sustainable technologies and industrial innovation. With extensive experience in process development, electrolysis technologies and scale-up activities, Koruma actively contributes to the transition towards a low-carbon and circular economy. The R&D Center has strong expertise in carbon capture and storage (CCS), bio-based chemicals, renewable fuels, waste heat recovery, energy storage and industrial decarbonisation. The available facilities include versatile reactor systems, distillation units and advanced analytical characterization tools. Koruma has extensive experience in national and international collaborative R&D projects funded by TÜBİTAK, TAGEM and the European Union. Current activities focus on CO₂ conversion to methanol for energy storage, electricity generation from waste heat using Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) systems, development of bio-based solvents and biomass valorisation technologies. I am a Chemical Engineer working at the Koruma Klor Alkali R&D Center, conducting research and development activities in sustainable technologies, clean energy and advanced materials. My work focuses on carbon capture and storage (CCS), energy storage technologies, supercapacitors, carbon-based materials, sustainable materials, process development and industrial decarbonisation.
I have experience in pilot-scale process development, technology demonstration and international collaborative R&D projects. My activities include process optimisation, the integration of laboratory-scale research with industrial applications and the development of sustainable manufacturing approaches.
Within the framework of the CETPartnership Joint Call 2026, I am particularly interested in collaborating on projects related to energy storage technologies, supercapacitors, carbon materials, carbon capture and storage (CCS), sustainable materials, low-carbon technologies and integrated industrial energy systems.
