At our living lab Green Energy Park we accelerate the energy transition by enabling system-level testing and validation of high-TRL innovations, connecting academic research with market reality. Our Smart Village Lab includes a smart home lab (including PV, home batteries, residential loads,..), neighbourhood batteries (BESS), EV charging area, etc. Our Hydrogen research facility offers a highly controlled environment that complies with all safety regulations enabling you to focus both on component level testing as on the role of hydrogen in an energysystem.
I am interested in the following CETPartnership thematic areas:
develop the optimised, integrated European net-zero emissions energy systemdevelop a pool of zero-emission power technologies and solutions based on Renewable Energy Sourcesprovide technological cleaner solutions for storage technologiesprovide technological cleaner solutions for hydrogen and renewable fuelsprovide technological cleaner solutions for CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) and CCU (Carbon Capture and Utilisation)provide enhanced and improved heating & cooling technologies and systemsdevelop and validate integrated regional and local energy systems, NoREST initiativedevelop and demonstrate technical solutions for integrated industrial energy systemsprovide solutions and technologies for buildings to become an active element in the energy system
Hydrogen research facilities that complies with all safety regulations. Possibility to integrate new components. The lab includes H2 panels, an elektrolyser,a fuel cell and is integrated in our multi-energy living lab enabeling research on system level.
The Smart Village Lab is a real life environment where you can safely experiment with smart housing and residential neighbourhood systems to balance the production and consumption of electricity
