About me

Dr Eka Chokheli is a Doctor of Economics and Associate Professor at the Department of Management and Administration at Tbilisi State University, serving since 2006. She co-leads the undergraduate and graduate Business Administration programs, providing academic leadership and strategic vision. From 2015 to 2018, Dr. Chokheli managed the Industrial Innovation Laboratory and Business Incubator at TSU, supporting innovation and entrepreneurship development.

Her academic expertise encompasses Management, Strategic Management, and Operations Management courses. Dr.Chokheli'’s research focuses on improving the efficiency of organizational structures across various economic sectors, with a specialized emphasis on the energy sector. Since 2024, she has been a principal investigator on the “Energy Sector Security Research of Georgia” project, funded by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation. She is also preparing a new grant project titled “Assessment of Energy Infrastructure Readiness and Smart City Development Opportunities in the Context of Georgia.”

Dr. Chokheli has co-authored seven scientific publications in the energy domain and supervises doctoral candidates researching the efficiency enhancement of energy companies and the application of advanced technologies to promote energy security and sustainable development.
