Dr. Rajesh Ransing is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Swansea University, specialising in advanced thermal systems, manufacturing analytics, and uncertainty quantification. His research focuses on developing innovative solutions for sustainable industrial processes, including high-efficiency heat pumps and digital twins. Dr. Ransing has led collaborative projects with industry partners, such as his Royal Academy of Engineering Industrial Fellowship with Polycast Ltd, aimed at enhancing productivity in metal-casting foundries. He is currently spearheading the development of a patent-pending CO₂-based heat pump system designed for simultaneous heating and cooling applications, contributing to the decarbonisation of thermal energy systems.
