My organisation
About me
My expertise is in experimental and computational heat and fluid flow. This includes heat transfer, thermodynamics, energy systems, fluid mechanics, as well as optimization and programming skills.
I received my PhD from the Energy Research Institute and the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore in 2019. I stayed at NTU as a research fellow until 2022. Then I moved to Denmark and worked at the DTU Thermal Energy Section as a postdoc for 1.5 years. In 2024, after moving to the Netherlands because of my partner’s job, I continued my research independently. Since April 2025, I’ve been working as an assistant professor at SDU Mechanical Engineering.
I’ve listed my application-based experience below:
-
Thermal management of data centers, electronics, and batteries
-
Cryogenic energy utilization
-
Heat exchangers and ejectors in refrigeration and heat pumps
-
Conformal cooling via additive-manufactured surfaces
-
Drying and spraying
-
Heat storage and recovery
-
Ground source heat pumps
-
Geothermal pipe design and optimization
-
Green wall design for indoor air quality
