About
Hello,
You may find below the brief information about the project and partner details we look for. Please feel free to contact with me begum.aykal@galatainnovation.com
Istanbul Technical University will coordinate a consortium focused on anchors, moorings & dynamic cables for FOWTs in offshore environments. The main goal is to develop and validate next-generation, reliable, cost-efficient & sustainable subsea connection technology enabling digital tools for large-scale FOW. Simultaneous optimization of turbine locations and farm-scale connection networks will be made to reduce LCOE, infrastructure requirements and material use while maintaining resilience and lifecycle reliability.
Requested Partners:
WP-1: An industrial partner who will do fully coupled aero-hydro-servo-elastic analyses of FOWT through OrcaFlex or a similar software.
WP-4: A university or a research institution which can do surrogate model development from HF analyses of seabed and hydrodynamic interactions of FOWT anchors and moorings.
WP-5: We need a partner that will do the integration of all the surrogates and the development of the design framework considering wind farm-scale optimization in terms of anchors and moorings.
WP-6: Case Studies (We need TWO developers that can provide us with the insitu data for FOWT farms and do the case studies in two distinct locations across Europe)
WP-8: Diss. Expl. and Comm. An eligible partnership is sought for the time being.
