About
We are looking for project cooperation opportunities under CETPartnership Joint Call 2026, particularly within CM2026-05 Hydrogen and renewable fuels.
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Energy Systems Engineering at Erciyes University, Türkiye, and I lead the H2FC Hydrogen Energy Research Group. Our research focuses on hydrogen production and electrochemical energy conversion technologies, including PEM water electrolysers, AEM/alkaline electrolysis, direct seawater electrolysis, microbial electrolysis systems, PEM fuel cells, electrocatalysts, porous transport layers, gas diffusion electrodes, membrane electrode assemblies, single-cell testing, stack-level validation, and durability assessment.
Our main contribution to potential consortia would be in advanced electrolyser component development and validation. We can support projects through catalyst and electrode development, non-pure water and seawater electrolysis studies, MEA fabrication, electrochemical characterization, performance testing, durability evaluation, and system-level integration. We are especially interested in projects targeting renewable hydrogen production, low-cost electrolyser components, reduced critical raw material use, improved durability, and operation with alternative water sources.
In addition to my academic activities, I am the co-founder and chairman of Bataryasan Enerji A.Ş., a technology company working on hydrogen technologies, PEM electrolyser components, fuel cell systems, lithium-based battery packs, battery management systems, and energy storage solutions. This enables us to contribute not only at the laboratory scale but also to technology validation, prototype development, and industrially oriented demonstration activities.
I have also served as an evaluator for several CET Partnership and Horizon Europe proposals and have participated as a partner in Horizon Europe project proposals. Therefore, I am familiar with the structure, expectations, impact logic, and collaborative dynamics of European R&D projects.
We are interested in joining consortia as a PI, R&D partner, technology partner, demonstrator, or validation partner. Potential collaboration areas include PEM/AEM electrolysis, direct seawater electrolysis, non-pure water electrolysers, advanced electrodes and catalyst layers, MEA development, electrolyser stack testing, hydrogen production from renewable energy, and integration of electrolysis technologies into renewable fuel value chains.
