Climate impact on energy infrastructure
About
We're the Energy&IT group at the Technical University of Vienna, Austria. We're currently active in a national research project , where we study the impact of climate change on the electricity system focusing on the effect of increased cooling demand on low-voltage grids and the exposure of overhead lines to future severe weather events.
We strive to bring this research to a European level, contributing in the development of monitoring or resilience recommendation systems.
