Liquid pistons and high performance heat exchanger for isothermal compression/expansion of gas
About
Our team combines expertise in thermodynamics, experimental physics, complex system engineering, mechanical engineering and project management. We have designed and built systems allowing near-isothermal compression/expansion of air at high pressure. It is based on liquid pistons and high performance heat exchangers. Originally we planned to develop a high efficiency CAES but we believe our invention could also be used or modified to suit heating and cooling applications (heat pumps, stirling engine, ...). We are happy to contribute in such projects.
