Solid Hydrogen Backup Power Solution - a superior green alternative to diesel gensets
About
For decades, the world has relied on diesel gensets to create off grid power for intermittent and continuous use cases. These are some of the dirtiest devices on the planet, responsible for tons of GHG emissions and direct pollutants. Industry and consumers alike are hungry for a green alternative.
Our Modular Hydrogen Storage and Production units generate pure hydrogen, on-demand from a solid carrier which has ideal properties for backup power:
-
Fuel is stable at normal pressure and temperature - can sit idle for prolonged periods without loss of fuel
-
Fuel is energy dense - can store and distribute large amounts of hydrogen in a smaller space and less weight compared to alternatives
-
Safe - eliminates the complexities and safety concerns of gaseous and liquified hydrogen
-
Directly feeds a fuel cell or a hydrogen combustion engine - creates low maintenance, reliable, zero emissions solution
-
Digitally enabled - IOT connectivity alerts company to performance parameters and fuel level eliminating the labor needed for in person PM
Aich2 has assembled partners across Europe with leading edge fuel cell technology and HICE interested in testing this solution for back up power in agriculture, industry, and the built environment. These demonstration deployments will prove the superior technical performance and economics of our solution compared to legacy alternatives. We are seeking additional partners to complete the integration of components into a turn key solution, model the techno-economics for market competitiveness, build out the refueling infrastructure, and expand to other territories/countries across Europe.
