Carbon Capture and Storage Value Chain

Chiyoda, together with partners, deliver “engineering service” with quantitative/comparative analysis, to optimize whole CCS value chain from capturing CO to, injection and storage undergroundand, and provide effective solutions against key technical challenges.

Followings are example of ongoing CCS projects that Chiyoda support as Engineering company.

1. CCS Project in Japan

   Chiyoda engaged as engineering service provider for multiple CCS projecs in Japan, supported by JOGMEC, which include CO2 seaquestration inside Japan and export CO2 to CCS site outside Japan.

2. CCS Project in Australia

   For the Feasibility Study led by Pilot Energy, Chiyoda is responsible for the onshore facility scope, while Knutsen NYK Carbon Carriers AS (KNCC), a liquid CO2 marine transportation provider, is responsible for the marine transportation scope.
