Call module 4 - Nordic CCUS/CDR
About
Our planned research analyses how capital flows and investments can accelerate Nordic carbon dioxide removal (CDR) value chains. Using stakeholder insights, we'll develop models linking CDR to energy and financial systems, and evaluate how market designs mobilize large-scale, long-term investments. Tentatively, our methodology integrates game theory, real options modeling, energy system simulations, and co-creation workshops. Outcomes will advance the foundations for efficient financing/regulatory frameworks and—through stakeholder collaboration—deliver implementable proposals for scaling CDR deployment. We are looking for partners who are planning for a technical core component of a proposal and aim to add research that will add to the required cross-cutting and innovation components.
