Molten salt driven electrical boiler
About
At Saltes, we have developed a thermal storage system able to store salts at elevated temperature (up to 500°C), which are heated by electricity. The discharge system converts this hot salt into a hot fluid which transfers the heat to the client’s industrial process (typically this is steam).
The Saltes Thermalpod® storage system has a modular lay-out based on containerized blocks, which is scalable and flexible in line with the changes in customer needs and energy markets.
We would like to enhance the applicablility of the technology, and demonstrate it under various industrial use cases.
