Mavios Havacılık ve Yazılım Teknolojileri (Bursa, Türkiye) is an R&D-oriented SME developing autonomous unmanned aerial systems and integrated AI-based software. The company designs mission-specific UAV solutions that increase operational efficiency and mission continuity while minimising the need for human intervention. Although formally established in 2024, the founding team builds on prior R&D and field experience through its predecessor, Mayfly Havacılık, ensuring continuity of technical know-how.

Our core platform, MAVIOS Nest, is a fully off-grid, solar-powered autonomous deployment and charging station that enables drones to land, recharge and redeploy without human intervention, supporting continuous operations in remote and infrastructure-limited environments. A distinguishing feature is a platform-agnostic "Universal Air Module" interface, designed to remove vendor lock-in and enable interoperability across heterogeneous drone fleets.

The system integrates an onboard (edge) AI layer for real-time aerial detection of people and vehicles, turning the drone from a passive sensor into a platform that assesses the field situation in real time. Typical applications include early forest-fire detection, critical-infrastructure monitoring, environmental surveillance and search-and-rescue.

The technology has been validated in field conditions and is advancing from prototype to operational maturity (TRL 7) with support from the ECDI (European Cluster for Drone Innovation) programme under the EU Horizon framework. Türkiye is associated to Horizon Europe, and Mavios is eligible to participate in and receive funding within Horizon Europe consortia.

We are seeking coordinators and consortium partners preparing Horizon Europe Cluster 4 Digital proposals in applied AI, autonomous systems and AI-driven robotics. We can contribute a field-validated autonomous UAV/AI platform, real-world use cases, edge-AI and autonomy engineering, and a testing and demonstration environment, together with the agility of an SME for validation and deployment work packages.
