Exatronic

Exatronic is an electronics engineering and manufacturing company based in Aveiro, Portugal, with over three decades of experience turning ideas into market-ready electronic products. We integrate every stage of a product's life under one roof — design, development, prototyping, industrialisation and full-scale production — which lets us reduce risk, accelerate decisions and make industrialisation predictable for our partners.

Our capabilities span product design and requirements specification with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) applied from day one; hardware, firmware, mechanical and electrical development; in-house prototyping through functional 3D printing and machining; supply-chain development and component sourcing; and electronics/PCB manufacturing and final assembly under strict quality control. We are an IPC member, ISO-certified (SGS) and RoHS compliant.

Since 2020 alone we have delivered 175+ projects for 50+ new clients, with €15M in component sourcing value. In Horizon Europe consortia we act as the industrial partner that transforms concepts and research outputs into reliable, manufacturable, scalable hardware — with particular relevance to power and thermal electronics (e.g. energy-efficient data centres), robotics and automation integration, edge/embedded and IoT devices, and electronics-photonics packaging and integration.
