The University of Jyväskylä (JYU) is a public multidisciplinary research university in Finland, founded in 1863, with strong international standing in information technology, artificial intelligence, data science, and software engineering. JYU comprises six faculties, around 14,900 students, and 2,800 staff, and offers comprehensive bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral education.
JYU has well-established expertise in digital technologies, AI-driven systems, software engineering, and human-centered computing, and actively contributes to European digital transformation and competitiveness.
